I bet you must have wondered once in your life that why is your behavior and attitude is changing time to time or as you grow up? Or why do your parents ask you time to time to improve your attitude which obviously makes you or anyone angry and frustrated and out of frustration you ask yourself why is that I am changing in such a way that it is getting out my control. Similarly when you turn from a bad human being to a good human being and wonder how did the sudden change accrued or when your parents or teachers ask you how did you change so suddenly and started doing your home work and act respectfully. And the most obvious one of them all you must have definitely asked this question that why do my teachers, parents and even all elders continuously ask me to roam around with good people who are obedient and respectful and with all those good qualities and are respected in the society and why do they ask me to stay away from the mischievous group of people? Peer influence and pressure

PEER PRESSURE AND INFLUENCE Say you're sitting around with some friends playing video games and someone mentions a particular game that happens to be one of your favorites. "Oh, that game's easy. So not worth the time," one of your friends says dismissively. The others agree. Inwardly, you know that it is a game you happen to enjoy quite a lot but, outwardly, not wanting to debate the issue, you go along with the crowd. You have just experienced what is commonly referred to as peer pressure. It is probably more accurate to refer to this as peer influence, or social influence to adopt a particular type of behavior, dress, or attitude in order to be accepted as part of a group of your equals ("peers"). As a teen, it's likely you've experienced the effect of peer influence in a number of different areas, ranging from the clothes you wear to the music you listen to.
